What’s The Best Diet For Weight Loss?


I came across this and wanted to share with all of you before the holiday season approaches.  According to a recent study by the Journal of the American Medical Association, the best diet for weight loss isn’t necessarily low-carb or low-fat. It’s whichever diet you are able to stick with. In an analysis of data from 50 trials including 7,300 individuals, significant weight loss was observed with any low-carbohydrate or low-fat diet, with a very small weight loss difference between the diet programs. These findings support what doctors like myself have been telling our patients for years: There is no such thing as nor is there a need for a one-size-fits-all approach to dieting. If you intend to adopt a new diet, the one you’ll find success with is the one you can commit to for the long term.
